With a new year comes new beginnings for the arts at Utah Tech University. The College of the Arts now has its own official social media pages! They can be found on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Be sure to give them a follow to see what’s happening on campus. Content will include weekly “Art Adventures” with different students “taking over” the Instagram page to show a sneak peek into their lives as visual and performing art students at Utah Tech. News about events as well as academic programs, introductions to staff and faculty, and humorous videos will be on there as well. It will be a grand mixture of informative and fun.
Allyson Twitchell, the new Marketing Coordinator for the College of the Arts, shared how excited she is for spearheading these new initiatives. “Social media is where people are these days so we need to meet them there. I can’t wait to see what kind of impact student-driven content will have in our reach. I mean, they’re the stars of the college. All of this is for them. And it will hopefully let people know that the arts are here! We’ve been here, are here, and aren’t going anywhere.”
